Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment – Wedding DJs website

This was a website built on the Avada Theme template.

Brief – The brief for the website was to move it to a WordPress based template, to modernise it and incorporate clean design, but provide lots of information for potential and current clients. Images were very important, as was a means of quickly and easily updating the site. The new website had to incorporate the owners online planning software by having a link in for clients as well as utilising the contact form that directly imports information to the planning software. A Blog was also required as a means to write up experiences from weddings and provide potential and current clients with advice.

The budget was £1,500.

Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment had an existing html website that ranked well in search engines, but was “clunky” to update and needed a little modernising. The previous website had a green colour scheme.

The website features some large, professional photos as key elements. Eleven pages were created, with some accessible from front page, image and text box links. The top menu bar features a drop down as well as single links menus. A YouTube video is also inserted on the front page and another on the Why Me? page. Some of the website graphics such as the header, logo, favicon and some of the front page image/text box links were created/re-worked by Web SEO Assist. A Blog feed was also inserted at the bottom of the page to provide a constant refresh to the page. The footer has a client log in link taking users through to website owners online planning software as well as a Facebook link feed and social media links.

The website also has several plugins installed to facilitate monitoring of visitor stats and to optimise the website for SEO.
